The Biology

At its peak, Polio was most prevalent in school aged children. 90-95% of children experienced Polio symptom free. Up to 10% of those infected with Polio experience symptoms such as fever, headache, vomiting, diarrhea, stiffness or pain in the arms or legs. 95% of children who did experience symptoms were back to normal within 3-4 days.
